With a little help from our friends

Day three of Papa Out of Town was a good one. Some of our besties came by to play.

While the Bird was down down for his morning nap, I sprinkled the side yard with brightly colored plastic eggs for a hunt later on in the day. After nap, we rushed to Target for some necessities: two new giant bouncing balls and plastic shovels.

Lane took right to picking up each egg - and looking inside. Much to his disappointment, our eggs lacked candy inside, so the egg hunting was short lived.

On to snack eating and bubble watching. It really is one of the best ways to spend a warm weather day.

Until you remember you have a Radio Flyer bicycle and a four wheeler waiting for you in the back yard.

And a tractor. Can you say Redneck Baby?

The day was pretty awesome. And the best part of the day was around 5:30 when papa arrived home a day earlier than expected - bearing two mini Moon Pies. One for each babe.

Our Hoo Bird was real excited to see his papa but the reuniting would have to wait until the entire Moon Pie settled in his belly.

After that, the evening belonged to those two. There was lots of snuggling, kissing, hugging, throwing up in the air, bouncing, bath time fun and loving.

We sure are happy to have our papa home.
