I can do too.

I watched these two monkeys yesterday during a short play date at a park. I'm not sure who started this little game they played for a full hour - or when it began - but I noticed it while taking the first photo of Andrea.

She gracefully sat on the railroad tie and posed for a picture in front of the slide. Until ole' bossy backed his bum right up to where she was sitting, knocked her off, casually sat down and looked at me with that innocent look.

Game on.

If you can slide, Lane. I can too.

If you can stand at the gate and wait for your Mama, Andrea. I can too.

You can't imagine the compliments I got on these two babes as they stood at the gate and watched the people walk by.


I can get my mama to give me a sip of her water, Andrea.

I can drink from her bottle too, Lane.

On and on it went.

I love this crazy rocking horse thing, Andrea. My mama laughs and laughs as I rock back and forth and up and down.

Oh, I can do it too, Lane. Look, your mama laughs and jumps up and down for me too.

Then, I secretly caught the two of them sharing a fish snack under the slide.
Sweet, isn't it.

Two seconds later, the fight over who would hold the snack bowl full of fish began!
